The Student Government Association approved a bill Monday to reduce the future scholarship amount given to the organization's executive board - the president, vice president and treasurer - by about $3,000.

Currently, SGA President Cody Bourque said the scholarship he receives waives him of paying tuition, room and board, student fees and a $900 meal plan.

Despite the late starting time (7:53 p.m., to be exact) the pageant started and went rather well. The theme of the event was "A Tour of Egypt" and our appointed tour guides were Alonzo Blalock and Diseree Smith-Clark.

The tour started off with a very entertaining dance number set to the up beat tune "Just Got Paid" by Johnny Kemp.

Linebacker Keefe Hall is having a great season so far. The 6-2, 230 pound senior is not only leading the team in tackles, but the team he plays on is 8-2 and is at the top of the SWAC western division standings.

To those who have seen Hall play on Saturdays, he is a natural linebacker.
